And why not? Part of the attraction of a Johnson mayoralty is to see the smug pompous patronising faces of Toynbee, White, Alibhai-Brown and Brooker et al turned into ashen doom. They’ve put no positive case for Ken; just labelling Boris a racist and a fool.
It didn’t work. London was one million strong for Boris, and “we are going to gloat”.
