Actually, I think Halo Jones is more filmable, although I would agree that Ms Paltrow would be unsuitable for the lead – it depends who was making it.

Turning it into a film makes no sense to me. If you were going to adapt it properly, you would make it into an action movie about action movies - but then you'd end up with something along the lines of <i>The Last Action Hero</i>. You certainly wouldn't have the characters or the plot of <i>Watchmen</i>. Of all Alan Moore comics – indeed, of all comics – this is the one least crying out for a film adaptation. I don't go along with Alan Moore's anti-cinema hardline. I <em>want</em> to see a film version of Skizz directed by Danny Boyle. There are even some directors whose interpretation of Watchmen I would be excited about. The problem is, he has been so badly let down by Hollywood thus far.
