True its hard being the third (or in Scotland and Wales sometimes the fourth), but we are gaining more and better coverage than we had 10 years ago. I also think that we need to look at our local politics - reasses whether we are actually practicing community politics or populist pavement politics and also use the Focuses to promote liberalism by framing the debate in liberal terms not populist terms. I wouldn't seek to blame Ming either, but the media wants to focus on someone and Cameron did reasonably well and Blair is going so Ming it is by default...
