    See you there! I am expecting a big turn out, which should really put climate change firmly on the political map.

    In George Monbiot’s new book, he says that to avert a rise by 2 degrees celcius above pre-industrial levels (a crucial tipping point), the UK needs to reduce its annual per capita carbon emissions from 2.66 tonnes to 0.33 tonnes.

    This is around a 90% cut, and is going to require massive public support and political will. Let’s make it happen!
