Straw man "revealed"

How about all the non-Muslim members of the next "free and frank" discussion session - such as "Question Time" - deliberately "choosing" to sport full-face balaklavas or motor cycle helmets?
Banks, clubs, pubs, garages and supermarkets, etc., don't tolerate it because it's "unfriendly" and a security risk.

There seems to be no imminent threat of resulting civil unrest from their actions.

What, after all, is the meaning and purpose of valuable "face time"?

Maybe JAck is aas confused as Presscott about t'internet. The fact that you can get theyworkforyou to email you every time your MP speaks or a certain subject is raised are important tools for people to engage in the political process. That then becomes qualatative as anybody who reads such contributions from their MP will be looking at the quality of the service that they are providing. Also checking if what said MP said in publications or meetings is actually matching up with what they say ans do in the chamber.

Or maybe Jack is concerned that such tools make it too easy for the voters to find out how many lies his Labour colleagues had to tell last year to get back into their padded green seat.

So the arbitrary performance indicator is on the other foot? Perhaps the government will now think twice before they impose the next one.
